TWP Stain

TWP – Wood Deck Stain, Sealer & Preservative

what is the differnece between twp 100 and twp 1500 stainWhat is the difference between the 100 and 1500 series?  twp stain dealers

TWP 100 series is the original manufactured  formula for over 25 years.  TWP® 100 series is a unique combination of chemicals in an easy to apply formula that protects and preserves all exterior wood. However, due to V.O.C regulations it can NOT be sold in all states. TWP 100 series is a 2 coat “wet on wet” application. Due to its deeper penetration and faster drying formula (2-24 hours)it is preferred by contractors.  TWP 100 is recommended for decks and horizontal surfaces.

TWP 1500 has a higher solid content, a matte finish, and is slower to dry 6-24 hours. TWP 1500 is a 1 coat application. TWP is compliant in all 50 states.   TWP 1500 series will out perform the 100 series on fences and log homes and is recommended over the 100 series on vertical surfaces.

Both TWP 100 and TWP 1500 are EPA registered preservatives and  contain special U.V. absorbing pigments that prevent unsightly wood graying, darkening and fading.

Due to D.O.T restrictions, TWP 100 can NOT be sold or shipped to the states below.  TWP 1500 is compliant in all 50 states.

California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia,Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Northern Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont and parts of Arizonia.
